n such instances, we typically provide customers with the option of selecting a “coarser” concrete surface treatment. These surface treatments may be accomplished with the power floats of the industrial concrete flooring contractor or, on occasion, with specialized equipment able to provide a combed surface finish.
High-Tolerance Concrete Slabs
We install concrete floor slabs with a high tolerance for cracking in warehouses that need forklifts with wire guiding systems and tight aisles. The cast-in-place industrial concrete floor slabs may be installed by Category 1 or Category for specified movement flooring requirements and the TR34 2003 version.
Floor surveyors measure the concrete in both its flexible and hardened forms. These high-tolerance concrete floor slabs facilitate the smooth operation of the forklift, particularly at the interface of building joints.
